I have noticed on the television recently that buses are struggling to stay on the road as they are not taking much money due to the high percentage of passengers having bus passes. I therefore think it would be a good idea if a flat rate pass was brought in of 100, however far you go, for everyone, pensioners included. This way, the buses would be taking money to help them run and people like myself, with children, would be able to afford to use them. I would be interested in your readers' thoughts on this, as I feel that if buses carry on taking little money, we will lose the service completely. A.
