Knepp Castle Polo Club has varied programme for season
Kim Richardson started polo on the estate 20 years ago, founding the club in 1993, and now his sons play and his wife, Jo, also plays an active part in the running of the club.
He explained: "I was in the army, based at Windsor and we kept horses in the stables at Windsor Castle. When I bought Perrets on Knepp estate, I wondered what I was going to do with all the fields. Now we have three big polo grounds and some practice grounds here, which are immaculately maintained by our groundsman Chris Ogden."

He puts on a programme of events tailored to what people want to play, rather than setting events at an expensive level- and positively welcomes the public to go along and watch for free and savour the atmosphere.
