VIDEO: Horsham FC chairman reacts to ground refusal decision
The chairman of Horsham Football Club has spoken out in disappointment to Horsham District Council’s decision to refuse permission for a new ground.
The plans were considered by the council’s development control committee last night (January 20) and despite support from council officers, councillors voted 13-9 against the proposal.
After the meeting club chairman Kevin Borrett said: “We believe that the application we put forward was very strong, it carried a recommendation for approval by officers and the important thing for me, none of the statutory consultees were objecting to our proposals.”
