Seagulls head to Griffin Park hoping to continue their improving form

Brighton and Hove Albion makeÂ the relatively short trip to GriffinÂ Park tomorrow (Saturday) withoutÂ any fresh injury concerns. A number of the club's playersÂ were involved with their respectiveÂ national teams during the recentÂ league break but they seem toÂ have negotiated the internationalÂ fixtures without suffering any sideÂ effects. Gordon Greer, Aaron Hughes,Â Jake Forster-Caskey andÂ Christian Walton were all calledÂ up to national squads - withÂ Forster-Caskey and Walton bothÂ representing England at under-21Â and under-20 level respectively. Forster-Caskey in particular willÂ be looking forward to tomorrow'sÂ game having impressed in hisÂ recent Albion outings. The arrival of midfield linchpinÂ Danny Holla has helped Forster-Caskey flourish in the increasinglyÂ fluid attaching approach beingÂ developed by Sami HyypiÃ¤. Forster-Caskey should keepÂ his place alongside Holla andÂ Andrew Crofts, with the WalesÂ international this week havingÂ celebrated signing a contractÂ extension which ties him to theÂ Albion until June 2016. HyypiÃ¤'s midfield optionsÂ remain slightly limited due toÂ the continued absence of DaleÂ Stephens, Solly March and KemyÂ Agustien, none of whom will be inÂ contention for tomorrow's match. That leaves Rohan Ince andÂ potentially Bruno as alternativesÂ to the Holla, Forster-Caskey, CroftsÂ fulcrum, with Portuguese livewireÂ Joao Teixeira almost certain toÂ continue in an advanced role inÂ tandem with two from CraigÂ Mackail-Smith, AdriÃ¡n Colunga,Â Sam Baldock and Kazenga LuaÂ Lua. Brentford may be newly-promotedÂ but the Bees shouldÂ represent a difficult challengeÂ for HyypiÃ¤'s improving AlbionÂ having enjoyed a promising startÂ to the season. Mark Warburton's menÂ sit in eighth place in theÂ Championship with two winsÂ and just one defeat - againstÂ recently-relegated Fulham -Â from their opening five games. Centre back James TarkowskiÂ has been a strong figure at theÂ heart of a Bees defence whichÂ has leaked less than a goal aÂ game and has also benefitedÂ from the presence of talentedÂ goalkeeper David Button andÂ 21-year-old emerging left backÂ Jake Bidwell. The home side should includeÂ the influential Scott Dallas, whoÂ picked up a slight thigh injuryÂ while on international duty withÂ Northern Ireland, and one-timeÂ Albion transfer target MosesÂ Odubajo who joined in theÂ summer from Leyton Orient. Brentford have tended toÂ favour a defensive-looking 4141Â formation in the league thisÂ season but have struggled toÂ stop opponents from getting aÂ sniff of Button's goal, with theÂ Bees giving up an average of 17Â shots a game in the league so far,Â giving some indication as to theÂ ability of their number one. At the opposite end, the BeesÂ lack an obvious goalscorer.Â In fact, no single player hasÂ registered more than one goal inÂ league action this season. AndreÂ Gray and Nick Proschwitz areÂ likely to compete for the centralÂ attacking slot, unless WarburtonÂ opts for a more traditional 442Â with two-pronged front-line.
