Pep Guardiola's Manchester City the best-ever in the Premier League - Chris Hughton
Pep Guardiola's City became the first Premier League team to hit 100 points in a season last year, after winning 32 of their 38 league matches and scoring 106 goals.
Albion head to the Etihad this afternoon and on whether Manchester City are the best-ever Premier League team, Hughton said: "For me personally, yes.

Hide Ad"But it is about eras. And Manchester United teams played a different way but were massively successful and exciting.
"It’s a difficult one to tie them down to the best, but of course they are right up there.
"And with a way of playing….I think probably tactically they are the best because they can change a game. And when you see now a tactic from a goalkeeper that can play the way the goalkeeper does and incorporate that into a way of playing then yes, it’s a little bit special."
Hughton added: "They have individuals who can produce moments and also from set-plays but there is no coincidence about the goals they score.

The way that his (Guardiola's) full-backs play, we haven’t seen much at this level, where the movement of their full-backs coming infield. So as a team at the moment, they are a very special team."
