You're hired! Hove MP takes on an apprentice
The Hove MP has taken on Nic Proffitt, who is a business and administration apprentice.
Mr Kyle said: “I’m over-the-moon to announce that I’ve taken on an apprentice in my own constituency office. Nic Proffitt is a local resident who studied GCSEs at Dorothy Stringer and then A-Levels at Varndean College. He’s exactly the type of young adult who high-quality apprenticeships should be attracting. He’s bright, switched-on, keen to learn and wants to live and work in his home town.

It’s a tough gig - the office is a busy, complex place to work - but the skills he will learn will be invaluable to him and the office benefits from his dedication and energy.
“There are around 350 young people locally who are no longer in the education system and who are not working or being trained for work. Apprenticeships should be an attractive option to them because, like Nic, there are a proportion of our talented youngster who simply have no interest in university.”
