VIDEO: See in the New Year at a '˜rave for all'
Parents’ who struggle to get a babysitter will be pleased to hear that the midnight countdown will be celebrated at 6pm.
The TotRockinBeats rave is being held in the Assembly Hall, in Stoke Abbott Road, from 4pm to 7pm and will feature a line-up of DJ’s, soft play, giant karaoke, jive dancers, a licenced bar, hot food, face painters and a surprise for midnight.

Organiser of TotRockinBeats and dad-of-one, Dan Flanagan, said: “When kids gate-crash your social life, you come to realise that most of the time it’s easier just to have people round or not go out at all – instead, you just sit and watch other people’s lives happen on Facebook.
“That’s what happens most New Year Eve’s. I haven’t gone out or made it till twelve o’clock in years.
“I’m not having it anymore – this year I am going to make a real effort. I want to see the new year in, in style, with my friends and family – but how do you do that with a four-year-old and no babysitter?

The event will also include a gift donation station so that people can donate unwanted Christmas presents and toys to Storm House, a local homeless charity based in Union place.
TotRockinBeats NYE follows the team’s two successful sell-out events earlier in the year.
The event has also been nominated in the ‘Best Event’ category in the Sunny Worthing Awards, taking place in February next year.
