Maria Steel, Rehoming Centre Manager at Northiam Blue Cross, did the walk with her own dog, Dotty.
She said: “It was a great day on Sunday, the day went really smoothly and the weather was just fantastic.

Maria and Dotty raised £49.
Sarah Bussell, Rehoming Supervisor at Northiam, did the walk with her dog Bobo, who is nearly 18 years old, and raised over £300.
Altogether, the walkers raised a fantastic total of over £800, which will all go towards the care of the homeless cats and dogs at the centre.
The Northiam Blue Cross Centre provides accommodation for up to 11 dogs and 34 cats, while actively trying to find loving homes for them.

As a volunteer foster carer you will look after needy animals in your own home while they are recuperating from operations, or illnesses, or young kittens or puppies until they are able to find a permanent new home.
