Sompting and Lancing campaign against housing development
The group is asking residents to lodge their objections to a development on the old nursery site, in West Street, Sompting.
The application was refused by Adur District Council earlier this year, but developers have lodged an appeal against the decision.

Hide AdNigel Howard, from Save Our Sompting, said: “We need your help, again, to block this appeal or it will add to the already serious traffic chaos in the village and will ultimately erode the Sompting village community.”
More than 60 objections were originally lodged against the application for 14 homes.
Save Our Sompting is objecting to the development on the grounds that it will lead to the loss of the strategic gap, the site is in a conservation area, it will damage village life, set a precedent for future development, mean more traffic on the West Street “rat run” and lead to a loss of parking.
The leaflets, sent out by Save Our Sompting, include a letter which can be sent to the planning inspectorate opposing the development.
