Shoppers evacuated from Priory Meadows
Shoppers were evacuated from Priory Meadows shopping centre this morning (Wednesday) after a false alarm.
The evacuation took place around 11.30am, with shoppers kept out of the building for around 20mins.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (EFRS) confirmed that a crew was called to the scene at around 10.45am. The crew were stood down after confirming there was no cause for concern.
