The fire service has confirmed there has been a number of deliberate fires in Newhaven.
A spokesperson for East Sussex Fire & Rescue said, “Please help us tackle a recent spate of deliberate life ring fires in Newhaven near sources of open water.
“This life-saving waterside rescue equipment is crucial for saving lives.”
