Hundreds left without power after ‘fault’ in Peacehaven

Hundreds of homes have been left without power this evening (February 9).

UK Power Networks said a fault with an underground electricity cable had cut off electricity to 329 homes in the Peacehaven area.

Engineers are currently on site fixing the issue which has caused an ‘area wide power cut’.

The electricity provider said it expects power to be restored by 7.30pm.
