‘Delight’ over Gildredge House Eastbourne pupils’ GCSE results
Amid the ‘chaos’ of the A Level results, the school said Year 11 waited with baited breath to see what was going to happen to their grades.
Fortunately, they were awarded the Centre Assessed Grades they so ‘richly deserved’, said the school in Compton Place Road.

Hide AdHeadteacher Stuart Reeves said, “I am delighted that all the hard work our students have put in has been recognised and I congratulate them all on what they have achieved.
“This has been such a difficult and uncertain year for students and I commend them on their resilience and ability to cope.
“I must also pay tribute to the fantastic effort my staff have put in over the last five years and, in particular, during lockdown.
“We now look forward to welcoming students to our Sixth Form as they continue their educational journey.”
