Ninfield Bowls Club have had some ups and downs over the last few weeks with the weather not helping their cause. Their match at home on July 11 against Sidley Martlets was cancelled. They then played Staplecross on July 14 with the game having to be abandoned after 11 ends! July 15 saw their home match against Hawkhurst having to be cancelled due to a water logged pitch (we can hardly believe that just a couple of weeks ago the weather was so different!). However last weekend saw better weather and they managed to get some matches in: July 18 they played Gullivers, July 21 they lost against Northiam 57-93 (a drastic defeat - obviously the good weather put them off!) and on July 22 they narrowly lost to Beckley 64-66.
