Horsham woman to run London Marathon for cancer charity
Jane Parish, 37, of Wallis Way, Horsham, will be running the London Marathon for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research (LLR) this year despite being an inexperienced runner.
She said: “I decided in June that it would be a good idea to run the London Marathon so I entered and got a place running for LLR.

“LLR is very important to me. My uncle died from lymphoma as treatments were not very advanced but the work LLR do is essential to finding a cure for blood cancers.”
She added that recently one of her friends has been diagnosed with leukaemia and another with lymphoma and, she believes, the treatments that helped save their lives would not have been possible without the work of LLR.
Jane will also be raising money for LLR by holding a quiz night at The Barn in The Causeway, Horsham on February 22.
