BONFIRE CRAFT FAIR: Tomorrow, Saturday, at the Charles Hunt Centre from 9.30am to 3pm in aid of Hailsham Bonfire Society.

TRANSPORT COFFEE MORNING: This is at the Pavilion tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am for 10.30am start at the Pavilion, George Street. A morning of transport related films and documentaries covering all modes. £5 entry includes refreshments.

HOPS QUIZ: This is at Summerheath Hall tomorrow, Saturday, evening. Please book on 841373. Cost per person is £7.50 which includes a ploughmans.

LADY GAGA TRIBUTE: An evening of entertainment in the company of Lady Gaga tribute artiste at the HMI Western Road from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. Adult content.

BIG FAMILY TEA QUIZ: Come and join Hailsham FM and Environment Hailsham for the Big Family Easter Tea Quiz, with a prize raffle and tea and cake sale. All the proceeds from the afternoon go towards Hailsham FM, Hailsham’s very own local radio station, and Environment Hailsham who are working to make Hailsham a greener and more pleasant place. Tickets for adults are £6 each or £3 for children, available in advance by calling 01323 842931.

COMMUNITIES COMMITTEE: This is at the Town Council offices on Monday in the Fleur de Lys meeting room, accessible through the rear access next to kebab shop and to the right. Open to the press and public from 6pm and 15 minutes contribution from public at the beginning of the meeting. Please check the website for agenda, previous minutes and up to date information.

BONFIRE SOCIETY MEETING: If you are interested in learning more about the society and maybe would like to join in the parade at this year’s celebration and extravaganza in October, go along to the HMI, Western Road, at 8pm and meet the gang.

HAVE A GO EVENT: Go along to Hailsham East Community Centre, Vega Close on Tuesday and find out what the many clubs and organisations do and find something of interest for you and your family. There will be activities throughout the event for everybody and all ages from 10am until 2pm.

WALK LEADER TRAINING: Ever fancied setting up your own walking group or maybe you would just like to help an existing one. There is free training for such a role at Prospect House, George Street on Tuesday. Please book on 01273 516032.

HAILSHAM LIONS: New members are welcome to go along to the Lions’ monthly meeting on Tuesday at the Charles Hunt Centre, Vicarage Field, from 7.30pm. Find out what it’s all about or phone local rate number 0845 833 9828 for more information. All welcome.

HEALTH WALK: On Thursday meeting up at the War Memorial in the town centre at 10.30am for a leisurely stroll of about one hour around the town. All welcome and very suitable for people with health challenges. There are leaders front and back so no one gets left behind. Free, just turn up.
