Thieves escaped with a quantity of tools when they targeted two properties in Pulborough.

Police say that in one incident a shed door was forced open at a house in Cousins Way and tools stolen.

In another incident, thieves tried unsuccessfully to break into a garage at a property in Glebelands but they damaged a van and took tools from it.

Both thefts happened overnight on September 8 and 9.

Police ask anyone with any information to contact them by calling 101.
