'˜Everyone he met was struck by his eloquence, his passion and his caring nature' - tribute to Crawley stabbing victim
Sam Caulfield, of Mayfield, died after he suffered serious injuries in a property in Spencers Road, West Green, on Saturday (June 20), said police.
He volunteered for a Band of Brothers, a charity that helps young men who have been in trouble with the law.

Hide AdIts CEO Nathan Roberts said: “Sam was a much loved and respected part of abandofbrothers Crawley. His death has rocked our community to its core. Everyone he met was struck by his eloquence, his passion and his caring nature.
“He joined our community a few months ago and immediately became an active and valued member. He had already stepped up to volunteer on our residential trainings and was also active in a project to create a garden for a local young lad facing a degenerative illness.
“His passing leaves a big hole in our community and we will honour his memory by continuing to be there for any young man in Crawley who is seeking to be the best possible version of themselves.
“Our thoughts are with Sam’s family and friends and anyone who was lucky enough to have known him.”

Hide AdA 24-year-old woman, a 22-year-old woman, and two 20-year-old men – who are all from Crawley – have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They currently remain in police custody.
