Londoners could go quackers for Bognor's '˜duxi'
Its events officers have sponsored one of the capital’s iconic black taxis and turned it yellow.
The eye-catching vinyl wrapping of the ‘duxi’ features the images of hundreds of plastic ducks with the message to visit the town.

Hide AdKirsten Fitzpatrick, the council’s events officer, said: “Years ago I dressed up as a duck and went out on a jetski as a PR stunt for the Beside the Seaside event. It made the national Guardian and the campaign has pretty much gone from there.
“We have been giving ducks away for a few years now, and this year we got our ducks branded…and decided to wrap a London taxi as a duck to get people from London down to Bognor Regis for day trips.”
The taxi has quickly had an impact. The first spotting was in Canary Wharf last weekend just after the vehicle was decorated.
The duck campaign is a staple feature of the council’s social media output and a duck day features in its annual Funshine days each summer.
Anyone who uploads a selfie or image of the ‘duxi’ to the council’s social media pages wins a Bognor Regis branded ducks.
